Americas Quarterly Dedicates Issue to Anti-Piracy

As a part of its continued effort to bring awareness to the issue of online piracy and the damaging effect this crime has on the content industry in Latin America, TAP co-sponsored the latest Americas Quarterly (AQ) issue which focuses on the "black box" plague spreading in the region.

AQ is the leading publication dedicated to politics, business and culture in the Americas. With a print circulation of 15,000, AQ reaches a highly influential audience of policymakers, business executives, journalists and opinion leaders throughout the Americas.

The online version of the special Piracy issue can be accessed here. In addition to an insightful editorial by AQ Editor in Chief Brian Winter titled "How to Stop Piracy – and Protect Latin America's Geniuses", the issue includes comparative stories on how governments in Latin America deal with piracy, features on those most affected by this crime, and exposes on the devices that facilitate the theft of audiovisual content, among other material.
